Most sleeping bags are designed for back sleepers, which leaves the majority of campers spending the night wrestling with a bag that wasn't built for how they actually sleep. The NEMO Tempo fixes that with a Spoon shape that genuinely accommodates side sleeping without the bulk of a rectangular bag.

The extra room at elbows and knees is the key difference. It allows natural movement through the night without the bag pulling tight across your shoulders or pinching at the legs every time you shift position. The Blanket Fold draft collar tucks in for warmth on colder nights or folds down for ventilation mid-season, extending the practical temperature range of the bag across variable Canadian conditions. An integrated pillow pocket at the sleeve opening lets you stuff in a jacket or a NEMO Fillo pillow for a ready-made head support without carrying extra gear.

Stratofiber synthetic insulation provides solid warmth at a 20F/-7C rating while resisting moisture, which matters on multi-day trips where a down bag would struggle to recover from condensation or a wet packout. A zippered stash pocket keeps a phone or small valuables warm and accessible through the night, and zipper plow hardware keeps the zip snag-free on the way in and out.
